I used to wish I had started blogging years before I actually did.  Now I’m just happy to have another way to avoid my responsibilities, which include: father, husband, entrepreneur, and academic.

My name is John Kelly.  I am chief scientist of Morningside Analytics, and a research affiliate of the Berkman Center at Harvard.  My doctorate is in Communications, from Columbia University.  In this blog I speak for myself, not Morningside, Berkman, or any other institution.  But, as often as possible I’ll share slices of my professional work which are allowed into the wild and have no other home.
